About Me

Hi! My name is Diyaan Zinjuwadia.
Welcome to my corner of the Internet!

I am currently a senior at Milpitas High School. I have a strong passion for mechanical engineering and in particular, robotics. I am eager to explore how these concepts intersect in the real world. Robotics, with its focus on automation, mechanics, and problem-solving, fascinates me, and I enjoy learning how systems can work together to accomplish complex tasks.

Past Projects and Awards:

  • Made custom RC Cars that run with BLDC Motors, ESCs, and 3S LiPo batteries. All placed on top of a custom-made, 3D-printed chassis (check it out in the projects page!)
  • Helped our Milpitas Xtreme Robotics (MXR) team go to the VEX World Championship in both 2023 and 2024 and am currently helping our FTC team for this year’s challenge: Decode!
  • Researched Automotive Vehicle sensors with UCSC’s AIEA lab via simulations. Measured and tested errors (FDE and ADE) of various sensor types.
  • Won 2nd Place in the State during the 2023 eCybermission competition with some friends (as well as a monetary prize going towards our college tuitions 💸)
  • After 5+ years of disciplined training and dedication, I earned my black belt in martial arts through the West Coast World Martial Arts organization (WCWMA)
  • Won 2nd place at a WCWMA Tournament in my belt category’s form section (red-one at the time)
  • Won 4th place at a WCWMA Tournament in my belt category’s form section (brown-one at the time)

Currently I Am…

  • Running the MXR FTC Mechanical team
  • Helping MXR set up MARS (an event to teach younger students the basics of robotics)
  • Using my CAD skills to design a Robotic Arm
  • Learning Fusion360 and preparing to take the test for “Autodesk Certified Associate in CAD for Mechanical Design”
  • Learning about Automotive Repair by shadowing a local mechanic
  • Learning about car photography with my Nikon D7000 digital camera
  • Probably watching Netflix and eating something 🍔
